Hi there boys and girls.. I was born in Mildura which is in Northern Victoria and grew up a little way from Mildura on a farm just a few kilometers from a small town called Cardross. Cardross is a really tiny town, so small that there is only one shop, one garage, a school and a town hall. Our post office address was PO Box number 1 and our telephone number was 12. I lived on the farm with my Mum and Dad and my brother and sister. I loved living on the farm; there was always plenty to do and lots of adventures to have.

My favorite subject at school was sport, then more sport. I really loved football and cricket. Actually I loved any sport where you could hit, kick or throw something.

The first series of books that I wrote was the Toocool series. There were 8 books in that first series. Another eight followed the first eight books and then another eight then another ten books in the Toocool series have just been published . In all I've written thirty-four Toocool books. Also there are thirty six books in the Boyz Rule series and twenty four books in the Girlz Rock series. And of course there are eight books in the Billy Kool series too. Soon there will be ten books in a brand new series called Marcy. You all know where Marcy comes from don't you?

So as you can see, as well as sport I really love writing. Everyday when I wake up I feel so privileged to know that I'm going to spend the day doing something that I really love. How old am I? Older than I'd like to be. I live in Melbourne which I think is the best city in the world. I have three children, Joel, Ryan and Shey. The only pet I have is a spider that lives in the corner of my garage.

I love going to the football and watching my team the mighty Tigers play. I'm hoping that I might live long enough to see the Tigers win another premiership. Maybe I'll have to live till I'm 200! And I still play cricket too, not very well, but I do still play. Anyway I hope that all the boys and girls that read my books have as much fun reading them as I had writing them.
